TECHICNICAL DATA SHEET OF SERIES VW-FN SELF-CLEANING FILTERS 

Machine description:

The described self-cleaning filters are made of a strong galvanized steel with galvanized steel panels for use in equipment for extraction and filtration of dust.

Main operating principles:

The dusty air sucked from work areas is pushed into the filtering chamber through a suction inlet; where it is filtered leaving precipitate the residues into the deposit chamber. 
The separation of particulates from the air takes place in two different ways, based on weight and size: medium-size and large residues are separated automatically when they precipitate. 
Fine dust is withheld by filtering sleeves which separate it from the air when is pushed outwards. 
In this way the sleeves slowly fill up with fine dust. 
They are cleaned by an economizer for compressed air. 
They are equipped to avoid clogging and optimizer air jets, limiting consumption. 
To guarantee fire safety, the upper part of the filter contains a fire-fighting “sprinkler” system which enters automatically in action in case of fire. 
The sprinkler nozzles inside the filters and above filtering sleeves have a bimetallic sensor which intervenes at a temperature of 74°C opening up the holes of water and generating cone jets to turn off the fire.

Complete with sleeves with automatic compressed air cleaning, pressure swich, sprinkler and temperature sensor.
NB: all versions of VW can be supplied with plenum chamber of demand.
